Hello,
The spring season is almost here
and the fitness centers are packed. Everyone seems to be walking, into some type of exercise or thinking about it.
It's obvious that we all want to look and feel our best, especially in the summer when less clothing is worn and more of our body is exposed.
What I don't
understand is why most people wait until a few weeks or months before summer to get it together. What happens during the previous months? Do we hibernate on the health of our body and mind?
If you have been thinking un-harmonious thoughts, eating un-harmonious foods and now have twisted your mind and body out of its original intent and shape,
how can a few non-consistent minor changes have any real impact in your life?
Nothing happens overnight and if we think about what has gotten us to our present status in life, we can't blame anyone other than ourselves. It comes down to the action we did or did not take that got us here.
The next ACTION STEP is to make a change RIGHT NOW. If it is business or that idea that you have been procrastinating on, stop right now
and give 5 minutes of your energy towards it. Right it down, email it to yourself, record it, hire a consultant to execute it. Do something about
it right now!
Give yourself a short-term goal. Tell a trustworthy supportive friend. A friend, not a "yes" person. For example: if you are overweight, have high
blood pressure, diabetes, pre-mature greying of the hair and a host of other issues, you will need a friend that is honest and will give you alternatives to
eating healthy food. Someone that values their health and shows this by their investment in it. You don't need a friend that will eat
fried chicken with you and that has simlar issues as yourself. Remember the old saying, "birds of a feather flock together", so start
flockiing with different birds.
I am giving myself a 3 month goal as well and have told a friend that will help keep me accountable. He also has in depth information in the fitness
industry and will be supporting me in this endeavor by making my short-term goal his goal. I'll be sure to share the visual "before"
and "after" results with you. I think you will be amazed and inspired.
