What script are you following?
Have you ever heard of the powerful and lovely goddess Nnashia? She had everything
that a women would dream of. Wealth beyond reason, a luxurious mansion, maids that
made home life so much easier, gardeners, door men, nanny and a personal secretary.
Nnashia even had what every woman desires, the love of her life. Her relationship with
her husband was the talk and envy of town and the children they raised together were so
blessed due to the radiant love Nnashia and her husband shared with one another.
It was like a fantasy or story out of a book. By far, Nnashia was one of the most beautiful
and powerful women you would ever encounter, yet she did not start off this way.
She had been reared, nurtured and deeply scripted for a hatred and distrust of men. She
would even make public announcements in town about how she would never marry a
man, nor give up her independence as long as she had breath in her body.
She would chant NEVER AGAIN, NEVER AGAIN! And the huge crowd of women
would chant NEVER, NEVER NEVER! Nnashia was able to marshall the energy
and unified the will of women in town into that script.

This script was very independent, strong and spirited and aroused deep emotions in
the women. It was also not a smart move and Nnashia knew this. For it ignored the
the dangerous, highly interdependent relationship needed to function as a unit, not alone
a nation and family.
Nnashia rescripted herself. A process she learned as a young women imprisoned
as a concubine to an insensitive wealthy business owner as a result of paying
off a family debt.
She learned to withdraw from her own mind and look at it to see if the scripts
were appropriate and wise. Nnashia learned how to vacate her own mind and
through a deep personal process of meditation, to work within her own scripts,
her own form of prayer and rescript herself.
Nnashia said that she almost hated to leave her imprisoned room because it was
there that she realized that real success is success with self. It's not in having things,
but in having mastery, having victory over self.
Mastering your mind is the key to success
Once this period of servitude and sexual favors as a mistress passed, Nnashia became
a political official, yet relegated to a position of insignifance as a woman. Everyone
felt that her spirit was now finally and forever broken, but it was not.
They were projecting their own videos, movies, soap operas, sit-coms and news bites
onto her. They did not understand her or the process. Nnashia was waiting for her time.
When the time came, when Nnahsia became a very powerful figure in her town, with
decision making over commerce, including jobs for both men and women. When she
confronted the strife, she rescripted herself toward men. Women and men were shocked!
She visited men's groups and looked at men on an individual basis and started one of the
most precedent-breaking peace movements in their history, a very strong initiative
that brought about peace to families for generations. Most of all, her own.
Nnashia was able to use her self-awareness, her imagination and conscience to exercise
personal leadership, to change the popular paradigm, to change the script and the way
she saw the situation.
She worked from within, utilizing the powers of the mind to rewrite the social, public and
family scripts passed down to her. From that rescripting, that change in paradigm, flowed
changes in behavior and attitude that affected millions of lives within her influence.
When we stand outside of our conditionings, our opinions as though we are observers,
we realize that we are acting out scripts, embedded and programmed behaviors that
are totally counterproductive to us and incongruent to harmonious relationships and
the things we really value in life. Rewriting the script is the first step to creation.
